Motion brings back the LE1600 (sort of)

When Motion released the LE1600 Tablet PC with the BOE/Hydis indoor/outdoor screen, it was widely recognized as the best viewable slate tablet on the market (even though Fujitsu used the same screen, they just didn't get the same press). With the release of the LE1700, Motion went to an SXGA+ screen with a 1400x1050 resolution. Although they still offer a View Anywhere version, it just isn't as bright as the old LE1600 screen.

Well, Motion has brought the XGA View Anwhere screen to the LE1700. This is really the best of both worlds as you get a tablet that has Core 2 Duo processor and a great outdoor screen. I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, but the XGA screen may suck down less battery as well which would be great. As a bonus, Motion has recently switched to 40 and 80Gb hard drives as options. After getting a bit distracted with some other products, I think Motion has a great product for the field, especially with the new/old VA screen.
